Surrounding lakes are used by tourists for bathing and fishing. At a distance of merely a couple of kilometers from “SIEDEM DRZEW” there is the Uzarzewskie lake as well as the Blacksmith Bay which apart from the traditional beach also has a nudist beach. Additionally, a couple of picturesque lakes around give visitors the opportunity to rest by the water. The Right Lake and the Left Lake, divided by a road between Biskupice and Paczkowo, are a true paradise for fishermen just as much as nearby water reservoirs: Stęszewskie Lake and Biezdruchowo.
HIKING, CYCLING & NORDIC WALKING
Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park is a paradise for the aficionados of hiking and nordic walking. The 143 kilometerlong system of marked pathways gives a lot of possibilities to create custom walking and training paths. Cyclists have a couple of routes:
- Marked cyclist route Malta Lake Antoninek Gruszczyn Uzarzewo Biskupice Promno Pobiedziska Węglewo Moraczewo Gniezno.
- Unmarked cyclist route “Through the Piast Trail with a Bike”.
- Unmarked cyclist route Poznań Kobylnica Wierzenica Tuczno Wronczyn Jerzykowo Biskupice Uzarzewo Gruszczyn Swarzędz Poznań.
- and others.
There is a marked canoeing trail in the area of Pobiedziska borough that runs through the trough of the postglacial lakes among picturesque lands of Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park. Trail is around 11,3 km long. It starts in Pobiedziska on the Biezdruchowo lake and runs through a portion of Main lake, then Jerzyńskie lake, Small and Big Wronczyńskie Lake and ends at StęszewskoKołatowskie lake in Tuczno. There are canoe transporters placed on the trail for tourist’s convenience. Tourists can also use the camping sites. The majority of the trail leads through the lands of Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park. Apart from admiring the nature canoers can encounter other attractions as well it is worth stopping by towns located near the trail. In Wronczyn village you can see: a wooden bell tower from the 19th century located next to a parochial church; a brickbuilt manor house from the first half of the 19th century; a brickbuilt distillery which was a former farm from the second half of the 19th century. In a 3 km distance from Wronczyn there is Krześlice village where you can admire a brickbuilt palace from the
middle of the 19th century. It is worth looking out for the trail’s local inhabitants as well! There are numerous species of birds and markings of beavers can be found very frequently.
AQUAPARK WATER PARADISE IN SWARZĘDZ
This modern complex with a big parking lot is accommodated to disabled individuals and conveniently located at the Swarzędzkie lake. Water Paradise swimming bath enables its clients to swim in a sport pool, recreational pool, jacuzzi, hydro massages, water slides and bowling. There is a special lido for the youngest ones with a small water slide. Water Paradise is a perfect place for family runs and relaxation in a friendly company. in multifunctional spaces of the complex one can train swimming sports or relax during a wellnessbased rejuvenation therapy.
ROPE PARK AND PAINTBALL CASCADER PARK
Cascader Park is the biggest rope park in Greater Poland it is located in a small town near Poznań called Kobylnica. It was founded in 2008 and since then it has been constantly expanding currently it covers an area of around 2 ha. Guests can expect three rope trails, two zip wires and a paintball field.
