Going along the creek’s trough one can see the collection of maidenhair trees from the south. On a small hill there is a group of twenty varieties of this rare and bizarre tree Gingko Biloba the only gymnospermous plant in the world that has leaves, not needles. Also worth noticing are Polishbred varieties that come from Nursery and Seedling Department of Agricultural University in Poznań outpost in Baranowo. These are among others “Bolesław I The Brave”, “Kazimierz the Grand” and “Władysław Łokietek”. Among the maidenhair trees grow American irises the past apple of Władysław Sękowski’s eye as well as daylilies that come from Botanical Garden in Poznań. Other perennials include aster and multiflower poppies. Autumn uncovers firethorn shrubs planted on the side naturally decorated with varicoloured fruits as well as maidenhair trees themselves, leaves of which change colour into saturated yellow.
